UPCOMING SUMMER EVENTS
Traditional Overnight 4-H Summer Camp 2025
Description: The ultimate 6-day overnight camp for youth to meet and connect with new friends from all over North Carolina. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, rock climbing, ecology, crabbing, archery, swimming, arts and crafts, sports, games, and more!
When: June 15-20, 2025
Where: Eastern 4-H Center (100 N Clover Way, Columbia, NC)
Ages: 8-14 years old (Space Is Very Limited!)
Registration Opens: Friday, January 31, 2025 (via Google Forms – Check Back Here)
Mandatory Steps For Attending 4-H Summer Camp:
- Google Form Registration (Check back here for link on: 01/31/2025)
- Payment ($250 – nonrefundable if less than 14 days before camp week)
- 4-H Online Enrollment
- Required Camp Forms (English) | Required Camp Forms (Spanish) — (By Licensed Medical Professional – Please submit original copies)
- 4-H Camp Medication Form (All medicine must be in its original container with campers’ name and dosage requirements)
- 4-H Summer Camp Packing List
- 4-H Summer Camp Driving Directions
- Arrive at Camp (Check-in at Recreation Hall – Sun., 06/15/2025 at 2:00 p.m.)
- Depart from Camp (Check-out at Recreation Hall – Fri., 06/20/2025 at 10:00 a.m.)
Northeast District Activity Day 2025
Description: The NC 4-H Presentation Program is the perfect opportunity for youth to master one of the most essential life skills — Public Speaking! Hyde County 4-H is here to help teach youth how to effectively communicate and present in their own unique way.
When: June 24th or June 25th (Check back for confirmed date)
Where: Martin County
Ages: 5-18 years old
Registration Opens: Friday, April 2, 2025 (via Google Forms – Check Back Here)
NC 4-H Congress 2025
Description: NC 4-H Congress is an annual educational event sponsored by North Carolina 4-H and planned by the State 4-H Council and Congress Advisory Committee. Youth will be engaged in transformative experiences such as workshops, guest speakers, and discussion groups that will help them develop leadership and social skills, civic engagement, community service, and much more!
When: July 21-July 25, 2025 (Check back for confirmed date)
Where: NC State University (Raleigh, NC)
Ages: 13-18 years old
Registration Opens: Monday, May 5, 2025 (via Google Forms – Check Back Here)
