Breakfast Foods Cooking Class

It’s the holiday season, and we all want to stay on a healthier track, right? Well, come join us for a cooking class of a variety of morning (or whenever!) treats! These will all be made from scratch. While cinnamon rolls still aren’t THE healthiest holiday morning option, making your own helps you control what is put in, and you can modify some parts to meet your needs.
And egg muffins – have you ever tried these savory, delicious, handheld bites of yumminess? They are one of my favorites for on-the-go or freeze ahead meals. You can add your own toppings to meet your dietary and taste preferences, and they are just perfect for little hands running around or early morning sport games.
Oh, and breakfast pastries! Making your own may seem a little daunting but are so much better for you than store bought! Let’s make them together and learn the ropes with others who are also learning.
Join us on Monday, December 16, 2019, at 10 a.m. for this tasty class! You will help prepare different foods and sample each one. Class will be held at the Government Building, Teaching Kitchen.
Registration is $5, due by Dec 11. Contact CatieJo Black at or 252.926.5278/252.944.5354 to register for this cooking class!
