*SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION AVAILABLE*
Applications for the North Carolina Extension and Community Association (ECA) Scholarships are now available! Applicants may be high school seniors or adults returning to college and from ANY county in North Carolina. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist students in obtaining a degree at any NC College, in any field of study, with priority given to Family and Consumer Sciences. Previous applicants and/or recipients may reapply each year they remain in school. State scholarships are $800 each, and district scholarships are $500. There will be both a Youth and Adult scholarship awarded in the Northeast District. Applications are available online. Scroll to “Appendices A-L” and choose “Scholarship Application” to download or you may pick up a copy from the N.C. Cooperative Extension,Hyde County Center. You must complete TWO applications - one to be considered for the district scholarship and one to be considered for the state scholarship.
