52nd Annual Blackland Farm Managers Tour - August 3, 2022

(Updated: July 6, 2022, 6:29 a.m.)
The 2022 Blackland Farm Managers Tour will be held in Beaufort County on August 3rd.  This year's tour is hosted by Southland Farms & Howell Farms.  Registration begins at 7:00 am and presentations in the field will begin at 8:00 am.  A sponsored breakfast and lunch will be provided.  NC State Extension specialists Drs. Ron Heiniger, Rachel Vann, Guy Collins, and Luke Gatiboni will cover corn, soybean, and cotton production information.

In addition, we will devote some time to the business side of agriculture, as we will have Jolene Brown presenting at one of the tour stops on the tour this year.  Take a moment to view this video from Jolene as she describes what she will be talking about when she joins us on August 3rd.  What she will say during her presentation could heavily impact you and your family as you transition your farm to future generations.  Make plans to attend.  You will not be disappointed!

The day will end with lunch and remarks at 12:30 pm.

1 hours of N,D,X, and O pesticide credits and CCA credits will be available. (CCA Credits: Nutrient Management CEUs: 1, Crop Management CEUs: 1, Professional Development CEUs: 1)
