Learn How to Grow in Your Space

— Written By

Are you new to the area? Have you been here all your life but you’re having trouble in the garden this year? Maybe your vegetables or trees are looking rough? You want to know why your grass doesn’t look as good as your neighbors?

Learn to GROW!

Join Area Horticulture Agent Gene Fox and the Beaufort County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers for this introductory class, “Learn to Grow in Your Space”.

This class will teach a brief overview of soils, vegetables, fruits, and turf in our area. The class will serve as an introduction to growing in the home landscape. More, in-depth classes will be taught in the fall to advance your knowledge from beginner to intermediate gardener. The introductory class will be at the Hyde County Extension Center September 19th from 2pm until 5pm.

If you are interested in attending this class, please call Connie Burleson or Gene Fox at the Hyde County Cooperative Extension Center at (252)926-4486.
